Administrative Services Department

The Administrative Services Department, under direction of the Office Manager, provides a range of services including assisting customers with service related issues, new accounts, billing, and payment processing. Customer inquiries are handled by a knowledgeable, helpful, and professional staff that is able to answer questions, resolve issues, and make referrals to other departments.

Bill Payment

Sewer Service Charges are billed quarterly (every three months) according to the following schedule:

South Placer M.U.D. offers the following payment options to make paying your sewer service bill easy!

Auto-Pay

You may pay your sewer service bill by having your payment automatically deducted from your bank account. To sign up for Auto-Pay, download the Auto-Pay Form, fill it out, attach a voided check, and send it to South Placer Municipal Utility District at 5807 Springview Drive, Rocklin, CA 95677. You may also contact our customer service personnel at (916) 786-8555 to request a form or learn more about the program.

Web Billing

You may pay your sewer service bill by visiting our online bill payment. Bills may be paid by Credit Card (Visa or Mastercard), Debit Card, or Electronic Check. You also have the option to stop receiving paper statements by using our E-Bill option.

TECHNICAL SERVICES DEPARTMENT (Engineering/Construction/Inspections)

Engineering Division

The Engineering Division, under direction of the Engineering Manager, is responsible for reviewing all project development plans to ensure that the wastewater facilities are designed to the high standards of the District. In addition, information on connection fee amounts, locations of District sewers and the issuance of "Will-Serve" letters can be obtained from the Engineering Division.

Construction Division

The Construction Division, under the direction of the Construction Manager, provides inspection services for the installation of public sewer facilities regulated by the District’s Standard Specifications and Improvement Standard for Sanitary Sewers. These Standards regulate and guide the planning, design and construction of all sanitary sewer systems within the District and are necessary to ensure proper system operation and to provide for the safety and general welfare of the public that will be using the facilities.

In addition to the inspection services described above, this department administers contract work for the District’s Rehabilitation and Capital Improvement Projects.

Maintenance and Operations Department

The Operations and Maintenance Department, under direction of the Superintendent and the Foreman, construct, operate, maintain, and upgrade the Districts’ infrastructure. One Leadworker oversees construction, repair, and part of the rehabilitation activities. Another Leadworker oversees all of the flushing, cleaning and closed circuit television, inspection (CCTV) activities of District main sewer lines, and service laterals. All crews perform manhole rehabilitation and easement access maintenance. Both Leadworkers provide support to the Construction Managers activities.
